Fine dining, solidarity and brazilian music at the Pequeno Príncipe Gala

The Pequeno Príncipe Gala, which will take place on October 12th at Gotham Hall in New York City, has a delicious recipe: fine dining, solidarity and brazilian music. Chef Claude Troisgros is in charge of the kitchen, and is responsible for the menu alongside his talented friends and chefs: Roberta Sudbrack, Thomas Troisgros and Daniel Boulud, who is also responsible for the dinner’s catering service with his company Feast and Fêtes.

On the menu, there will be buffalo ricotta, beets cooked in lemon, honey pickled baby vegetables, orange zests and Brazil nut; lobster vapatá; red wine braised short ribs, sweet potato mousseline, black trumpet and salsify; and apple cannelloni, pistachio flour and licuri for dessert.

Each dish is one of the chefs’ who are participating in the Pequeno Príncipe Gala voluntarily by Claude’s invitation, the great mobilizer of this network of renowned and empathetic cooks. “It’s always very touching to be a godfather to the Pequeno Príncipe. I’ve done it for many years and always, with each dinner, it’s a new emotion.”

Auction
During the Gala, there will be an auction of exclusive pieces, such as a IWC Portofino Automatic 37 women’s watch, which on the back has the engraving of a picture drawn by a young patient of Pequeno Príncipe. The piece, one a kind, is the result of a fun workshop held at the Hospital. The picture was chosen by the actor Murilo Benício, ambassador of the Swiss brand in Brazil.

Jewelry donated by Jack Vartanian, an 18k rose gold earrings in the Fringe collection, will also be auctioned. To complete the auction, there will also be two lots of Pelé’s memorabilia; the first lot being a New York Cosmos official jersey autographed by the greatest athlete of all time and a gold medal from Goals for Life collection. The second lot is a Brazilian Nacional Team’s official jersey signed by Pelé and Zagallo.

Brazilian Music
During dinner, brazilian music will entertain the guests. There will be a unique performance by the young singer Rafa Gomes, finalist of the first edition of “The Voice Kids Brazil”, and a pocket show by the singer Tiago Abravanel. DJ Gaspar Muniz will also be doing a special presentation during the opening and the closing moments of the night.
