The year 2024 was marked by many achievements and accomplishments at Pequeno Príncipe. In terms of healthcare, the institution celebrated several milestones, such as the 35th anniversary of the first solid organ transplant performed at the Hospital and the 20th anniversary of its Rare Diseases Outpatient Clinic. In addition to thousands of lives transformed, like Gabriel (photo), who, in 2024, completed his first year of life. When he was 3 months old, Gabriel underwent a heart transplant.

In terms of education, the Pequeno Príncipe College achieved the highest score in the Brazilian Ministry of Education re-accreditation evaluation. The Medicine, Biomedicine, and Pharmacy courses also achieved the highest score in the evaluation by the Ministry. At the Pelé Pequeno Príncipe Research Institute, several projects were approved in important funding calls.

The Pequeno Príncipe also looked to the future and launched the institution’s endowment fund, which will perpetuate its mission. And it began its major expansion project, the Pequeno Príncipe North. With the support of society, the Pequeno Príncipe is building a legacy of life and health for boys and girls throughout Brazil.
