Pequeno Príncipe Gala returns to Rio de Janeiro with top culinary talents and a meaningful cause

On October 6, the iconic Belmond Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro will host a memorable evening: the 2025 Pequeno Príncipe Gala. Now in its 16th edition, the event brings together some of Brazil’s most renowned culinary figures in support of a noble cause — raising funds for the healthcare and research initiatives of the Pequeno Príncipe Hospital, the largest and most complete pediatric hospital in Brazil.

This year’s dinner will be crafted by five chefs who exemplify the excellence of Brazilian cuisine: Claude Troisgros, the event’s patron, alongside Roberta Sudbrack, Helena Rizzo, Jessica Trindade, and Wellington Barcellos. Together, they will create a one-of-a-kind culinary experience where flavor and solidarity go hand in hand.

Hosted by Giovanna Ewbank and Bruno Gagliasso, the event will also feature special tributes. Model and influencer Daniella Sarahyba Klabin will be honored for her dedication to social causes, and Dr. José Sampaio Neto — surgeon and head of the Liver Transplantation Service at Pequeno Príncipe Hospital — will be recognized for his impactful scientific work.

The co-chair of the event is philanthropist Daniele Giacomazzi Behring, joined by philanthropic investor Amalia Spinardi Thompson Motta — both long-standing partners of the cause. Learn more about this subject in the main article of the 2025 July edition of the Pequeno Príncipe News.

  • 50th transplant marks Pequeno Príncipe’s excellence in pediatric cardiology.
